CLARITY Act Resources

The CLARITY Act—short for the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act of 2025—is a bipartisan legislative proposal introduced by House Financial Services Vice Chairman French Hill (R-AR) and House Agriculture Committee Chairman G.T. Thompson (R-PA), with co-sponsors including House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN); Subcommittee Chairman Bryan Steil (R-WI); Subcommittee Chairman Dusty Johnson (R-SD); Rep. Warren Davidson (R-OH); Agriculture Committee Ranking Member Angie Craig (D-MN); Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-NY); Rep. Don Davis (D-NC); and Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ). Its primary aim is to establish a comprehensive regulatory framework for digital assets in the United States by clearly defining the jurisdictional roles of the SEC and CFTC, closing regulatory gaps, and providing legal clarity for developers, investors, and market participants.
