As one of millions of American crypto owners and your constituent, I ask that you push forward digital asset market structure legislation that protects stablecoin reward rules and supports the developers building decentralized networks. Getting market structure done right will generate more financial opportunity and security for crypto users, while making sure that innovation takes place in the United States and is guided by American values.

These are issues where Democrats and Republicans have already agreed on policies that benefit everyday crypto users. In the GENIUS Act, Congress put consumers first by allowing us to earn rewards on our stablecoins. In the bipartisan CLARITY Act and draft legislation put forward in the Senate, the inclusion of developer protections enables American innovators from being penalized simply for writing code.

These policies create a more dynamic economy for all Americans.

With rewards, we all have better choices, better products, and more ways to earn value on our money. Dollar-backed stablecoins give us fair returns, encourage innovation, and result in more competition. With developer protections, innovators in our community will be able to work with confidence here at home and build technology that improves the way that we engage with the financial system.

If we lose our stablecoin rewards, it would be a clear sign that we, your voters, are being de-prioritized. If we lose developer protections, it would send a clear signal that the United States does not want the future of the financial system to be built domestically, harming our global positioning for years to come.
